Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), via constituent company HCS Water Treatment, has been contracted to deliver specialist water treatment services at Gordonstoun School in Elgin, north-east Scotland.
Gordonstoun School is an elite co-educational private school for boarding and day pupils in Moray, Scotland. Two generations of British royalty were educated at Gordonstoun, including Prince Philip and his son King Charles III.
It is named after the 150-acre (60-hectare) estate owned by Sir Robert Gordon in the 17th century; the school now uses this estate as its campus. Pupils are accepted subject to an interview plus references and exam results.
There are eight boarding houses (formerly nine prior to the closure of Altyre house in summer 2016) including two 17th-century buildings that were part of the original estate. The other houses have been built or modified since the school was established.
Gordonstoun is included in The Schools Index as one of the 150 best private schools in the world and among top 30 senior schools in the UK.
In this contract, specialists from HCS will deliver a variety of services to ensure Gordonstoun continues to have a clean and efficient water system.
Through HCS, PTSG is a member of the Legionella Control Association (LCA). Its Quality Management System for all work activities is upgraded to the ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 standards. The Group is a Constructionline approved contractor and has accreditation with the Source Testing Association (STA), SafeContractor, CHAS and BOHS.
