Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Liam Simpson as Group Health and Safety Director.

At PTSG, safety is not simply part of our business, it is the bedrock of everything we do. Every day, our colleagues deliver services in some of the UK’s most challenging and high-risk environments: at height, with electricity, with water and fire protection. According to the Health and Safety Executive, falls from height remain the leading cause of workplace fatalities in Britain, while electrical incidents continue to result in serious injuries. These realities reinforce why PTSG places health, safety and wellbeing at the very centre of its operations and why we invest in the very best leadership to safeguard our people and the people we serve.

Liam brings over 20 years’ experience in safety and risk management across aviation, construction, manufacturing, security and critical infrastructure. His career includes senior leadership roles with Wilson James, Weir Group and GardaWorld, following ten years of distinguished service with the British Army. A Chartered Member of IOSH and a respected board-level leader, Liam has a proven record of shaping safety cultures, delivering strategic change and ensuring that people working in complex environments return home safely each day.

Greg Ward, CEO of PTSG, commented: “The safety of our people is, and always will be, our number one priority. We work in environments where risk is ever-present, and our responsibility as a business is to ensure that every single colleague goes home safe and well at the end of the day. Liam’s appointment reflects our determination to lead the industry in health and safety and our commitment to world-class standards of protection and care for our people and our customers.”

Liam will now lead the next stage of PTSG’s Group-wide safety strategy, ensuring that our uncompromising standards continue to define our operations and that PTSG remains recognised not only for the excellence of our services, but also for the way we protect the people who deliver them.
