Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has announced the winner of a £750 prize as part of a safe driving initiative delivered in partnership with Lightfoot, the award-winning driver behaviour and fleet efficiency platform.
The competition, which ran from October to December, was designed to recognise and reward colleagues who consistently demonstrate high standards of safe, responsible driving across PTSG’s national fleet. To be eligible for the prize draw, participants were required to achieve Elite Driver status in the Lightfoot app and complete daily vehicle checks in line with Wessex Vehicle Management Company (VMC) requirements.
Following a random draw conducted by Lightfoot, PTSG is delighted to confirm that the £750 prize in Love2Shop vouchers has been awarded to Clifford Wands, from the Group’s Testing & Inspection team.
The initiative reflects PTSG’s continued focus on safety, compliance and behavioural excellence, recognising that safe driving plays a critical role in protecting colleagues, customers and the public.
Driving improvement through technology
Lightfoot is a leading telematics and driver coaching solution used by organisations across the UK to improve fleet safety, reduce emissions and lower operating costs. The platform uses real-time feedback and gamification to encourage smoother, safer driving habits, helping businesses reduce fuel consumption, wear and tear, and accident risk—while rewarding drivers for positive behaviour.
By integrating Lightfoot across its fleet, PTSG has strengthened its ability to promote safer driving standards while actively engaging colleagues through incentives and recognition.
Continuing the momentum into 2026
Building on the success of the latest competition, PTSG will be running another Lightfoot prize draw from January to March 2026, offering a further £750 reward. To qualify, drivers will need to maintain Elite Driver status and rank in the top 15% for lowest speeding events.
In addition, since September, PTSG has been awarding five £50 monthly prizes to randomly selected Elite Drivers, alongside Lightfoot’s own reward scheme – creating multiple opportunities throughout the year for colleagues to be recognised for consistently high standards.
