Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to provide specialist Access & Safety services for the UK’s third largest building society.
Yorkshire Building Society currently provides financial services both directly and through a 132-strong branch network and 99 associated agencies across the UK. Despite industry changes in recent years, Yorkshire Building Society remains one of the major mutual building societies in Britain. A review in 1995 confirmed that their mutual status was important to them. This makes them remain answerable to their members, rather than outside shareholders.
Engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will carry out testing and inspections of fall arrest equipment in this contract. The Access & Safety service will take place at various branches of Yorkshire Building society throughout the UK.
For PTSG, access and safety encompasses all types of equipment that allows engineers safe access all areas of a building. This is done with the aim of carrying out specialist services. This ranges from testing and certification of roof anchor points to the servicing and maintenance of the world’s largest BMUs.
