Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is to provide specialist electrical services at Woolgates, a ‘reimagined’ office building and grounds in the heart of the City of London.
The nine-storey Woolgate Exchange, newly names Woolgate, is undergoing a major refurbishment. The renovation will see the introduction of a new 1,500-square-feet rooftop pavilion. The addition will make it possible for unique views of St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Square Mile’s tall building cluster.
The renovated building will feature over 20,000 square feet total external terrace amenity. This will provide urban greening, biodiversity, and generous outdoor space on the majority of upper floors. The current reception area leading onto Basinghall Street will be enlarged and a new entrance on Coleman Street created. A ‘pocket park’ and new retail amenity will complement these additions.
The building will be all-electric, with no fossil fuel or gas boilers on site. The project is utilizing 100% green power purchase agreements (PPA). It is targeting a 4.5* NABERS rating and BREEAM Excellent. PTSG will enlarge the current reception area that leads onto Basinghall Street and create a new entrance on Coleman Street.
Woolgate has selected PTSG Electrical Services Ltd to install a brand-new lightning protection system. The development is now underway at the building.
