New service strengthens Fire Solutions portfolio and addresses critical fire safety compliance opportunity

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new, independent Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) service at PTSG, which goes live today (1 August). Delivered by colleagues in our constituent business, NEO, this new service line strengthens our Fire Solutions portfolio and responds to a strategically important opportunity in fire safety compliance.

Fire risk assessments are a legal requirement for all non-domestic premises in the UK under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. They play a vital role in ensuring that every business takes responsibility for identifying, evaluating and mitigating fire risks in their premises. Failure to carry out a valid FRA not only endangers lives but can also result in severe penalties, including prosecution, fines or imprisonment.

Expert Leadership and Independent Approach

Led by Steven Doherty, Managing Director of NEO, and Tracy Gregory, our experienced FRA General Manager, the new service will offer organisations across the UK a truly independent, impartial and expert fire risk assessment offer. Independence is critical as it means customers can trust that their reports are objective, compliant and focused entirely on safety and legal integrity.

Working closely with the team at newly acquired UK Safety Management (UKSM), also based in Leeds, Steven and Tracy will engage organisations nationwide to expand our FRA offering to new customers whilst also presenting significant cross service opportunities for the wider Fire Solutions business and existing customers.

An Evolution of our Offering

Brendan McNulty, Managing Director of PTSG Fire Solutions, said: “This new service marks an important step in the evolution of our fire offering. With regulations tightening and scrutiny increasing, organisations need a trusted partner to deliver truly independent advice. We are combining deep technical expertise with an unwavering focus on safety and compliance. My thanks to Steven, Tracy and the wider team for their vision and commitment in bringing this to life.”

Steven Doherty added: “Tracy and I are excited to lead this new offer and bring real clarity, rigour and reassurance to our clients.”
