Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG)’s specialist cradles division has delivered a bespoke access solution at a unique office development in London.

London Wall Place is a 500,000 sq. ft. project comprising two office buildings of 12 and 16 storeys and landscaped areas. 1 London Wall Place is a circa 300,000 sq. ft. building arranged over 12 storeys. The building, which is the UK headquarters of multinational asset management company Schroders, features a steel frame cantilever which will give access to London Wall as a user-friendly public thoroughfare.

The development has been designed with an acre of public realm between the two buildings that includes a series of gardens amongst historic landmarks such as ruins from the original Roman Wall and St Alphage Church tower.

Integral Cradles, part of PTSG Access and Safety, has delivered a complex access solution to the building, including the installation of a building maintenance unit and lift table solution. The solution will assist the ongoing maintenance of the building’s façade by helping staff gain safe access.

Integral Cradles is an industry leader in developing innovative access solutions, and its engineers have worked on a host of iconic buildings in the capital. The company recently completed a project at the iconic One Blackfriars, installing three BMUs to the 52-storey skyscraper in London’s Bankside.
