Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist Access & Safety services for retail giant Next.
Headquartered in Enderby, Leicestershire, Next plc has over 700 stores worldwide of which approximately 550 are in the UK. Next is the largest clothing retailer by sales in the UK, having overtaken Marks & Spencer in 2014.
Next has three main channels: Next Retail, a chain of 550+ retail branches in the United Kingdom; Next Directory, a home shopping catalogue and website with more than three million active customers, and Next International, with 180+ international stores. Its other businesses include Next Sourcing, for own brand products; Lipsy, which designs and sells its own branded younger women’s fashion products through wholesale, retail and website channels.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will carry out testing of the fall arrest systems in place at roof level of multiple Next stores throughout the UK. This will enable maintenance operatives to safely carry out their work at. This is a contract that is expected to grow.
Earlier this year engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd completed a window cleaning contract at Next stores nationwide.
