Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is to start on a substantial contract to deliver building access specialist work for one of the UK’s largest home improvement retailers.
With over 300 stores across the UK, its network is still expanding. The retailer also has a number of international operations including in Ireland and Saudi Arabia. In 2016, the retailer reported a customer base of seven million, with an estimated 75% using the company’s website to research their desired products before making in-store purchases.
In this contract, operatives from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd will deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works for the company’s central zone of stores. This includes works of different kinds, from building façade maintenance (such as cladding) to gutter and lighting maintenance and even siphonic drainage.
There are a plethora of functions and assets which enable large commercial buildings to operate effectively. In performing PPM work at strategic times, PTSG helps its clients’ buildings to remain fully functional, replacing or repairing assets before they reach the end of their lifespan.
