Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to install lightning protection at two medical centres in the south and west of England.

St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester, an independent registered charity, cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days. Care is also provided for patients’ loved ones.

Maggie’s Southampton is a centre providing specialist cancer care in the city, working in partnership with the  University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. There are Maggie’s centres throughout the UK and also overseas in Barcelona, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Both facilities will benefit from new a lightning protection system installed by engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd. The division, one of four in the Group, combines the talent and experience of some of the UK’s leading practitioners in their field. In lightning protection, this includes JW Gray – dating back to 1835, it is believed to be the oldest trading service provider of its kind in the UK, possibly even in Europe. Further companies acquired in the south west, north west, midlands and Scotland give PTSG a national reach.
