Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to deliver a lightning protection system for a new commercial development on Farringdon Road.PTSG offers the service as part of its specialist electrical services.
The retrofit of The Waterman at 143-157 Farringdon Road revives and extends a series of Clerkenwell warehouses, securing their future as workspace by reducing their carbon footprint, creating a coherent identity and enhancing tenant experience.
The handsome Victorian buildings occupy a prominent stretch of Farringdon Road, a short walk from Farringdon Crossrail station. The neighbourhood is within the Clerkenwell Green Conservation Area.
To successfully reposition the buildings in an evolving market, the available space will be increase by almost 900sqm. This will enhance the quality of workspace by creating private and communal terraces, and improve circulation.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will deliver a new lightning protection system. This system will help to protect the buildings and users in the event of an electrical storm.
