Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is delivering a series of specialist electrical repairs to Banbury Museum, in Oxfordshire.

Located in the centre of the town by the Oxford Canal, Banbury Museum displays a history of the town. This includes the English Civil War, Banbury as a market town in Victorian times, the Oxford Canal, and Tooley’s Boatyard next to the museum.

An architectural design competition was launched by Cherwell District Council and RIBA Competitions to design the new Museum building. The competition was won by ECD Architects of London and the new building opened in 2002. It is accessible over a bridge from the Castle Quay Shopping Centre or via Spiceball Park Road.

Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd are delivering a series of repairs to the lightning protection system in place at the museum. This will ensure it continues to be fully operational, in compliance with BS EN 62305.

PTSG is the UK’s leading supplier of lightning and surge protection services. Services include the provision of bespoke and standard designs for new systems and full testing, maintenance and repair services to existing systems.
