BAFE developed the SP105 Scheme to enable personnel responsible for fire safety to easily identify competent organizations and to provide confidence that competent personnel have serviced their wet or dry risers to requirements.
The scheme supports BS 9990:2015, Code of Practice for non-automatic fire-fighting systems in buildings. Any company wishing to be certified to the BAFE SP105 scheme must be able to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of BS 9990.
