Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to carry out a full restorative clean of a major office building in Bournemouth.

100 Holdenhurst Road is the address of a state-of-the-art office block situated around a mile from Bournemouth town centre and close to both the railway station and sea front. Offices are let to business tenants with manned reception, 24/7 access and security and elevator access.

Engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd, all of whom are IRATA-trained, will employ specialist rope access techniques, aided by mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) to reach every part of the building. A full restorative clean will be applied to the cladding of the building, which can become discoloured over time due to weathering and air pollution. PTSG’s restorative clean will return it to its original clean condition.

Rope access offers many advantages over other access techniques. Not only is it the safest method of accessing all parts of a building, it enables engineers to set up on site very quickly, avoiding the use of scaffolding which can be time-consuming to erect and may restrict people from accessing the building as normal during certain times.
