PTSG puts down its anchor in Port Street

Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to deliver specialist fire solutions services in Port Street. Port Street is an exclusive residential neighbourhood under construction located in Manchester’s iconic Northern Quarter. 

Some have described Port Street as the most desired development in Manchester for the near future. The landmark purpose-built development within Select Property’s Prestige Collection pushes the boundaries of resident experience. The first-class amenities include a 2,000 square-foot swimming pool, seventh-floor club lounge and a grand lobby with a 360° fireplace. The central retail and commercial districts of Manchester city center are easily accessible by walking from the site.

In this contract, which is a continued partnership between PTSG and Renaker, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will install a sprinkler system to keep residents as safe as possible in the event of a fire.  Fire sprinkler systems are automatic extinguishing systems that prevents fire growth and spread. It achieves this by releasing water through a series of sprinkler heads connected to a distributing piping system.
