Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a specialist Fire Solutions project at the new Greggs outlet at London Gatwick Airport.
Greggs is a British bakery chain specialising in savoury products such as bakes, sausage rolls, sandwiches and sweet items such as donuts and vanilla slices. Its new shop in Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal marks the bakery chain’s first airport site in London, and eighth airport location in the UK. It will be 1,600 square feet in size and is located at the South Arrivals.
PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd (via constituent company Trinity) has been an integral part of making the new store secure. Its engineers have provided a bespoke fire detection and alarm system solutions.
PTSG has a successful history of delivering specialist Fire Solutions services at airports, especially, Gatwick. One of its main clients is Heathrow, where PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd (again via constituent company Trinity) has been delivering safety systems since 2011. “Team Heathrow” ensures PTSG’s engineers are a seamless extension of the Heathrow team, with collaboration the key to success. It’s an approach that earned the team a trophy in the fire safety category of the Team Heathrow Health and Safety Awards in 2019.
