Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a specialist electrical services project in Criccieth, North-West Wales.

Criccieth is located in Eifionydd on the Cardigan Bay shore of the Llŷn Peninsula. The town is a seaside resort, popular with families. Attractions include the ruins of Criccieth Castle, which have extensive views over the town and surrounding countryside. Nearby on Castle Street is Cadwalader’s Ice Cream Parlour, opened in 1927, and the High Street has several bistro-style restaurants. In the centre is Y Maes, part of the original medieval town common.

The spectacular photograph depicts engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd installing a new air terminal on Ty Criccieth church, located on the high street running through the town.

A lightning rod, also referred to as an air terminal or finial, consists of a pointed tip rod made from conductive materials like copper or aluminum. It is strategically placed above all other metallic objects on a building or structure to offer external protection against direct lightning strikes. Air Terminals are the metaphorical tip of the iceberg in a lightning protection system.

PTSG Electrical Services Ltd. is one of the Group’s five independent business divisions. It combines the talent and experience of some of the UK’s leading practitioners in their field.
