Premier Technical Services Group LtBrighton City Airport has contracted Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) to deliver specialist Access & Safety services.
Brighton City Airport, also commonly known as Shoreham Airport, is located in the parish of Lancing in West Sussex, England. It has a CAA Public Use Aerodrome Licence that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction. Founded in 1910, it is the oldest airport in the UK and the oldest purpose-built commercial airport in the world still in operation. It is now owned by Brighton City Airport Ltd (BCAL).
Panattoni, which specialises in developing industrial real estate and warehouses, is building a multi-unit industrial scheme at Brighton City Airport, a scheme in which Glencar Construction is the principal contractor.
In this contract, which is with Glencar Construction, engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will deliver seven bespoke access platforms to house harvest tanks and give the user safe access from the ground level to roof level.
PTSG has completed specialist services contracts at many different airports around the UK. This includes both passenger airports and military airfields for the RAF. The Group’s engineers install a variety of fall protection equipment, as well as returning for periodic testing and inspection. Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd have also installed lightning protection systems – again, returning to carry out periodic testing and inspection.
