Trinity Fire & Security (Trinity), part of the Fire Solutions division of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), has removed all non-recyclable plastic from the packaging materials it purchases through its supply chain.

Trinity is an ISO 140001 accredited company and is therefore committed to focusing on the sustainability of the packaging its teams use to protect the products they supply whilst in transit. As part of the initiative to remove all non-recyclable plastic, Trinity now uses 100% recycled cardboard and has switched to a fibre-based packing tape. Its pallet strap and wrapping are made from recycled material and are fully recyclable. Any plastic found within its packaging are from recycled or re-used sources.

This latest initiative is in line with PTSG’s ESG policy, which is being continuously updated as the Group continues its journey to achieving net zero. The Group’s energy use has been meticulously monitored and recorded for a number of years across company headquarters and all constituent office locations. Detailed spreadsheets chart the quantity of energy used its vehicle fleet and utilities, which is then used to calculate the overall carbon footprint.
