Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist building services at ALDI supermarket in Tunbridge Wells.

ALDI is the common company brand name of two German multinational family-owned discount supermarket chains operating over 10,000 stores in 20 countries. The chain was founded by brothers Karl and Theo Albrecht in 1946, when they took over their mother’s store in Essen.

ALDI first came to the UK in 1990 and now has almost a thousand stores located throughout. On 4 March 2020, ALDI announced that all its suppliers must utilize recyclable, reusable, or compostable packaging by 2025.

ALDI’s store in Tunbridge Wells is part of Great Lodge Retail Park, which is around two miles from the centre of the town in Kent, around 30 miles south-east of central London.

In this project, PTSG’s Building Access Specialists Ltd will be undertaking a major roofing project at the Tunbridge Wells branch of the supermarket chain.

PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd undertakes a wide variety of maintenance, repair and cleaning work at all levels of commercial buildings. Their operatives are height specialists, highly trained and experienced in rope access techniques, as well as using ladders, MEWPs and working from the ground.
