Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has provided a total access solution to Verde SW1, a state-of-the-art office redevelopment in London’s West End.

PTSG’s group specialist installation division Integral Cradles provided four new building maintenance units (BMUs) and eight safety lines with a combined length of 377m, which also incorporated abseil points from its posts.

On the inside of the building, the team provided seven internal monorails complete with a modular cradle that was specifically designed and built to fit in the goods lift, so it could be stored away from the atrium reception.

Verde SW1 is a next-generation property which includes a dramatic triple height reception, and six roof gardens creating a ‘park in the sky’, with stunning views across London.

Key to the success of winning this contract was the team’s proven history of working with the developer’s senior staff on other iconic projects such as 30 St Mary’s Axe and Heron Tower. Integral Cradles is an industry leader in developing innovative access solutions, and its engineers have worked on a host of iconic buildings in the capital.
