About The Role
To assist in the control of materials and equipment delivered to and taken from the Fall Arrest Testing storage unit. Ensuring stock is available to fulfil client works as required.
Assisting in the repair, picking, recording and packing of safety PPE, parts and equipment and the distribution of these items through delivery to locations and Engineers based across the UK.
Role
- Weekly material/equipment deliveries to Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Southampton and occasionally Scotland
- Receiving deliveries – ensuring the correct paperwork has been submitted and goods received are correct with regards to quality/quantity.
- To assist the Technical Manager with picking parts for repairs and installations.
- Ensuring that all goods are loaded or unloaded, recorded and matching with the relevant paperwork.
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Reporting any damaged, or missing goods to the Technical Manager
- Maintaiing a good standard of housekeeping within the store and following the workplace H&S rules when handling goods.
- Material preparation for jobs to be allocated to the Engineering Teams
- Assisting with the warehouse inventory control and quarterly stock take.
Essential Criteria
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Computer literate
- Previous stores experience preferred
- Fork Lift Truck licence preferred
- Proactive, collaboration, and meticulous approach to work
- Ability to assess risks in a stores environment
- Team player
- Flexible and dynamic approach to all tasks
