Our ability of providing multiple specialist service at the same site(s) means we can often deliver a full-service solution for our customers. This increases efficiency all round in terms of time, work and money. Below are some of PTSG’s bundled services contracts for 2019.

  • In March we signed a contract with Sodexo, which secured eight sites initially with many more to come. Engineers from different divisions within the Group carry out fixed wire testing, portable appliance testing, lightning protection systems testing and fall arrest equipment testing.
  • At 500 sites across the UK, we carried out a variety of testing and remedial works.
  • Interserve (Department of Work and Pensions). Testing of all fire doors plus remedial works.
  • Jaguar Land Rover. Fixed wire inspection and testing at the automotive giant’s state-of-the-art production facility in Solihull.
  • Arcus FM. One of the UK’s leading facilities management organisations, Arcus FM awarded PTSG a contract in May to provide lightning protection and fall arrest services at a number of distribution centres.
  • Williams Lea Tag. The global business process outsourcing leader contracted PTSG for the provision of a range of testing/compliance services across fall arrest, fixed wiring and lightning protection systems. The work was undertaken on 18 business properties covering the whole of the UK.
  • Manchester Airport (ISS). The largest UK airport outside of London, Manchester Airport saw PTSG’s engineers performing the inspection of cradles and dry riser systems and the testing of lightning protection systems at four buildings.
  • Co-operative Group. Via main contractor Arcus, PTSG delivered testing and maintenance of lightning protection and fall arrest systems in place at a number of Co-operative Group’s centres of operation.
  • JLL. PTSG was appointed to handle the entire specialist services provision for the commercial and property investment giant, including fixed wire and fall arrest testing.
  • PTSG provided annual maintenance of lightning protection systems on 499 buildings at 109 sites; the Group also worked on a hydrant testing contract with London Underground – part of Transport for London.
  • Real Estate Management UK Ltd. Teams from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd. and PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd. worked collaboratively, with electrical engineers installing lightning protection systems while directing abseil technicians for the installation of lightning conduction tape.
  • MJ Mapps.In September we were awarded 19 MJ Mapp sites in the Midlands by NG Bailey. The contract covers electrical, fall-arrest and cradle maintenance for one year.
  • Vertas. Also in September we successfully tendering for the Vertas contract via Imtech Inviron for a second time. The contract covers chimney inspections, electrical testing and lightning protection.
  • Engie – Kuehne + Nagel UK. Engie is the main contractor on a project for Kuehne Nagel, a global transportation partner for air, sea and road freight solutions. PTSG was appointed in May to provide portable appliance testing at 18 of the client’s UK sites.
  • CBRE Group, Inc.is a commercial real estate services and investment firm. It is the largest company of its kind in the world, operating more than 450 offices worldwide. The contract includes:
    • Dulux Paints in Slough – fixed wire and PAT
    • BUPA – fixed wire, LPS and fall arrest testing
    • British Telecom – a new contract with BT, the telecoms giant, covers 800 sites where our engineers will undertake the testing of portable appliances and fixed wires, lightning protection systems and fall arrest equipment.
