Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured an order to test and inspect the lightning protection systems at 79 churches across the south-west of England.

The client is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often informally known as the LDS Church or Mormon Church. This is a nontrinitarian, Christian restorationist church that considers itself to be the restoration of the original church founded by Jesus Christ.

Upon completion of this contract, PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will have the opportunity to bid for the testing and inspection works of lightning protection systems at a further 279 churches UK-wide within the remit of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.

PTSG has delivered specialist services at a wide range of historical or heritage buildings across all four of its business divisions. One particularly significant contract was for Historic Scotland, which saw engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists provide specialist cleaning services using rope access techniques to remove unsightly vegetation and lamination from any stonework, restoring it to its original condition. PTSG worked on some of the country’s finest historical buildings including Edinburgh, Dumbarton and Stirling Castles and Glasgow Cathedral.

Please note that this story was published during the Coronavirus pandemic period. During this time, everyone at PTSG continues to adhere to all public health and government advice. This announcement is for information purposes only.
