Premier Technical Services Group PLC’s (PTSG) Electrical Services division is set to install lightning protection systems at the Britannia Music Site development in East London.
The £150m landmark development is located in Ilford and will be completed in 2019, partly thanks to £25m funding received from the Mayor of London in 2016. The new site will feature 354 new homes in a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments in a range of blocks including a 24-storey tower.
The Group’s engineers will visit the site to install lightning protection systems, fitted to the current BSEN 62305 standard. The installation of a lightning protection system is vital to protect future occupants in the event of a lightning strike.
PTSG offers a wide range of electrical services and is a leading specialist in the installation of lightning protection systems. Its Electrical Services division also provides fixed wire testing, portable appliance testing (PAT) and surge protection and earthing services.
