Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is currently on site at Brighton General Hospital, performing specialist electrical testing.

Brighton General Hospital is an acute general hospital in Brighton, East Sussex. It is managed by Sussex Community NHS Trust. The hospital has its origins in the Brighton Workhouse Infirmary, which was designed by George Maynard and opened in September 1867. The main Arundel building is a Grade II-listed building.

Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd are undertaking a test and inspection of the lightning protection system in place at the hospital. This system is vital to protect the structure and all hospital users in the event of an electrical storm.

All lightning protections systems of this kind must be tested and inspected on an annual basis to remain legally compliant. Should this highlight any repairs that are required, PTSG’s highly-trained engineers are fully equipped to carry them out.

As well as being the UK’s leading provider of lightning protection services, PTSG also delivers surge protection solutions and specialist earthing solutions for customers in a wide variety of industry sectors.
