Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has received an order to carry out fall arrest testing services for Morrisons supermarkets.

Over the past few years, PTSG has developed a strong collaborative relationship with Morrisons, inspecting, testing, refurbishing and replacing existing fall arrest equipment at the supermarket giant’s national portfolio of stores and distribution centres. This latest contract involves 350 metres of handrail at Morrisons’ Glasgow site.

The company was founded by William Morrison in 1899, who started the business as an egg and butter merchant in Rawson Market, Bradford, operating under the name Wm Morrison Limited. In 1967, Morrisons became a public limited company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

PTSG Access & Safety Ltd. is the Group’s founding business division. In addition to fall arrest testing services, its engineers also install a full range of safety equipment for all aspects of working at height, and they install and maintain access equipment including building maintenance units, cradle systems, monorail systems, fixed and movable davits, travelling ladders and gantries.
