Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is working closely with NG Bailey to complete the testing of fall arrest equipment at government sites throughout the UK. The work will be carried out in accordance with SFG20 – the definitive standard for planned maintenance. It enables facilities managers, building owners, contractors and consultants to stay compliant.

Developed by the Building and Engineering Services Association, SFG20 provides consultants, contractors, building owners and FM managers a single version of the truth when it comes to maintenance requirements for buildings.

First developed as SMG90 in 1990, the standard has been revised and updated on an ongoing basis, evolving from the original set of five published volumes, to a CD-ROM, before transitioning to an online service in 2012.

NG Bailey is a leading engineering and services business with offices, manufacturing facilities and sites across the UK. This contract is typical for PTSG in the way that it works collaboratively with a first tier contractor to design and deliver specialist services for an end customer. Such collaborative work can lead to sustainable relationships over many years.
