One of the businesses within Access & Safety divisions are Building Access Specialists Ltd.  Our highly trained specialists deliver access solutions to even the most challenging and diverse buildings.  Our extensive knowledge of working at height means that virtually any part of any building either internally or externally can be accessed for cleaning, maintenance, and refurbishment.

Role

The purpose of the role is to generate new Rope Access Window cleaning and Maintenance business opportunities by networking, cold calling and other lead generation methods nationally.  This includes developing a strong pipeline of quotations, tenders and proposals in order to meet ongoing sales targets set. Requires the presentation of solutions and services to both new and existing clients, as well as leveraging and developing client relationships that exist across the Group.

  • Generate new business opportunities in line with monthly activity targets
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Manage and grow new business revenues either with own network or by cold calling
  • Develop an ongoing pipeline of new business to achieve sales targets set
  • Accurately forecast the sales pipeline
  • Timely submission of weekly/monthly sales report
  • Manage clients’ expectations in line with our operational delivery capability
  • To quote and estimate jobs in line with the quotations
  • Develop and implement an agreed sales strategy and focus on key sectors. (New Build construction, high end residential and commercial property management)
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the Rope Access & Working at height marketplace and competitors within it

Essential Criteria

  • Able to acquire and maintain a high level of knowledge on our services to represent the offering to our customers and prospects
  • Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work independently and to deadlines
  • Able to fully understand the needs of customers and prospects when providing quotations.
  • A successful and consistent tract record of solution-based selling with proven and demonstrable experiences of closing new business
  • A strong understanding of the sales process
  • An excellent communicator both written and verbal with strong presentation skills. Must be highly organised, sales focussed and knowledgeable
  • Experience of selling a service into facilities, estates, maintenance and procurement managers would be a distinct advantage
  • Professional and flexible approach with a commitment to quality
  • Highly proficient skills in working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of the facilities management/Fall Arrest Testing marketplace

Other specific requirements:

  • Full valid and clean UK driving license
  • Ability to travel within Greater London region and occasionally UK wide
  • Ability to sometimes work flexibly outside of normal office hours when customer needs necessitate
