Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has secured a contract to upgrade lightning protection systems at the Chelsea College of Arts in London.
Engineers from PTSG’s Electrical Services division will attend two blocks of the college’s Milbank campus to upgrade the existing dated Lightning Protection Systems with Early Streamer Emission (ESE) Systems. ESE systems are a popular alternative to conventional lightning protection systems due to their ability to be integrated discreetly into building structures.
Chelsea College of Arts is one of London’s most prestigious art and design colleges. It forms part of the University of the Arts London, which is a federation of six world-renowned colleges: the other five being Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins, the London College of Communication, the London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Arts.
PTSG is a market leader of lightning protection services and has built up vast experience in the education sector, working on a variety of assets for education providers throughout the UK. The group’s Electrical Services division has also recently been awarded a contract at Lancaster University to provide a lightning protection upgrade as part of an extensive building remodelling project.
