This month we catch up with Michael Heydon, our new operations director at UK Dry Risers Ltd.
At work
I joined the Group as operations manager at UK Dry Risers Ltd in May 2018 with 13 years’ experience working in the fire protection industry. I am really enjoying the varied work the role brings.
My job revolves around operational planning for teams of labour-only subcontractors. I work closely with Operations Director Darren Brown, dealing daily with our clients’ operational needs and ensuring the PTSG budget is met.
At home
I am married with two children, Finlay aged 11 and Charlotte aged 8, and in my spare time I love to support them in their hobbies and see their impressive achievements. Finlay has just won GB U12 Junior Masters for Archery and also raised over £1000 for Help for Heroes by doing a 12-hour archery marathon which I am very proud of. Charlotte has recently taken up horse riding and is doing really well.
