Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) is set to carry out works on the new £25m Wycombe Sports Centre.
Willmott Dixon began construction work on the facility in May 2014 and is expected to complete the build by autumn.
PTSG’s Fall Arrest Installations division will install steel staircases and architectural balustrade, along with some bespoke metalwork to support the basketball court and scoreboards.
Wayne Adams, Sales Director of PTGS Fall Arrest Installations, said: “We are delighted to have secured a contract to work on the new Wycombe Sports Centre. We already have a very close working relationship with Willmott Dixon and we are looking forward to working with its team once again.
“Once complete, it will be a fantastic facility offering state-of-the-art facilities to High Wycombe. Our team will be onsite in the coming weeks to complete the works.”
Construction company Willmott Dixon was appointed by Wycombe District Council to create the landmark sports and leisure centre.
Designed by AFLS+P architects, the 10,750 m² rectangular centre will be clad in copper and aluminium panels that have four different finishes to give it a highly distinctive look.
Once complete, the centre will feature a wide range of sport and leisure facilities, including a 12-court sports hall, eight-lane 50m swimming pool, sub-aqua dive pit, 150-station gym, four-rink indoor bowls hall, two squash courts, climbing wall and café. Other features include a multi-storey car park, food store, coach park and ride terminus.
The current Wycombe Sports Centre remains open while the new leisure centre is being built adjacent to it, on the current site of the running track.
