Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) is to carry out electrical testing at luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce’s headquarters in West Sussex.
The group’s Electrical Services division has been awarded a contract to complete PAT testing at the company’s Goodwood plant in Chichester.
Andrew Dack, managing director at PTSG Electrical Services, said: “Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a prestigious global brand and one that we are delighted to have been given the chance to work for.
“The Goodwood plant is state-of-the-art and is full of some the most high-tech machinery around. Making sure the machinery is safe to use is essential and PAT testing will ensure the machines are in a safe state.
“I’m sure it will be a great experience for the team to work on such an exciting building and we are looking forward to carrying out the works.”
The Goodwood facility serves as the headquarters, design, manufacturing and assembly centre for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
Having been officially opened in January 2003, the plant has been expanded twice and now covers 22,500sq m. Around 800 workers are based at the site, half of whom are employed in the wood and leather shops.
