The works are set to be completed over three night shifts.
Scott Hawtrey, project director at PTSG, said it will be a pleasure to work in such a prestigious hotel.
“Our team carries out a wide range of works on a number of well-known and important buildings but it is not every day they get to work inside such a luxurious building,” he said.
“The works include installing a gantry over the hotel’s swimming pool and then removing it after each shift, which will be challenging. The programme is to be completed over three night shifts in order to minimise the impact to the hotel and its guests.
“There are a number of different aspects to the works including installing a number of safety measures before we can begin the work but we are confident the work will be delivered on time and without incident.”
Located in Sloane Street, the hub of Knightsbridge, Jumeirah Carlton Tower is one of the best hotels in London and boasts 216 guest rooms including 58 suites and award-winning restaurants.
