Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has strengthened its association with Tubelines after being contracted to deliver maintenance works at Arsenal Station.
PTSG’s South Suspended Access division will carry out annual testing of the tripod at the busy station.
Scott Hawtrey, divisional director at PTSG, said: “We are delighted to have extended our relationship with Tubelines. Working in partnership, we have delivered some fantastic works over the last few years and have been recognised for that.
“These latest works at Arsenal Station will be delivered between 7pm and 10pm to ensure there is minimal disruption to the station. Working within tight timeframes is something our team has a lot of experience of and we are looking forward to successfully delivering the works at Arsenal.”
Last year, the division completed essential repair works to the mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) at Canary Wharf underground station.
It has also produced detailed designs to deliver a programme of works for Tubelines, installed a lifting frame complete with winch and basket at Tooting Broadway and carried out a beam test at Canning Town.
PTSG, in partnership with Tubelines, won the top prize at the Premises and Facilities Management Awards 2013 in the Partners in Facilities Management (FM) category.
The organisations were jointly recognised for their collaborative approach to maintaining access and safety equipment, including eye bolts, monorails, ladders, lights, gantries, cradles and beams, on three of the four busiest tube lines in London.
