Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) has once again pledged its support to the annual Steeplejack and Lightning Protection Training Group (SLPTG) Apprentice Awards.
PTSG was the Gold Sponsor of the awards, which were held at the National Construction College East at Bircham Newton in December.
The awards, which recognise the achievements of apprentices in the sector, are a clear demonstration of the industry’s ongoing commitment to the training and development of its workforce in their highly specialised trades.
This year, 23 apprentices who have recently completed their training were joined by their colleagues, employers and trainers to celebrate their success and receive their NVQ certificates.
John Warren, Technical Director at PTSG Electrical Services’ company Test Strike UK Ltd., said: “What a great night for all – it was pleasing to see so many apprentices achieve their qualifications.
“My personal congratulations go to Kallum Barker (pictured) on becoming a qualified Lightning Conductor Engineer – he has worked very hard during the past two years, and I wish him every success in his future career.”
PTSG Electrical Services offers design, installation, test and maintenance of lightning protection systems as well as portable appliance, fixed wire and emergency lighting test and repairs.
