Premier Technical Services Group PLC’s (PTSG) Electrical Testing division has been commended by the NICEIC following a recent assessment of its quality and health and safety processes and systems.
NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for nearly sixty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors.
As part of the assessment the certification body carried out an in-depth review of the new HSQE systems in place across PTSG’s Electrical Testing division, including the introduction of quarterly audits which will take place for all electrical testing engineers.
Paul Teasdale, CEO, said: “Following an update to our quality and health and safety systems, we received an excellent response from the NICEIC, which was satisfied with the improvements which are being made in the division.
“As our accrediting body for all electrical work, it is important that we demonstrate that we are working to the highest standards of health and safety and quality control, and that all our processes are regularly reviewed and updated when necessary. The positive feedback is good news for our business and shows our commitment to continued improvement.”
PTSG’s Electrical Testing division is a leading expert in fixed wire testing, electrical rectification works and portable appliance testing, performing all works to the highest health and safety standards.
