Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has been awarded a contract to provide repair and maintenance services to access equipment the 7 More building on Tooley Street in London.
Specialist engineers from PTSG’s Access and Safety division will carry out a biannual LOLER inspection on the site’s scissor lift platform in April 2018, having already completed a successful inspection in October this year.
Completed in 2010, the 7 More building was the first major office in the UK, and the first building in the capital, to be awarded the BREEAM ‘outstanding’ rating. To achieve the rating, the site at 7 More London had to meet or exceed a challenging score of 85 per cent against strict criteria. To achieve this, architects included environmental innovations such as 80 per cent recycled aggregate within the concrete used, and the recycling of waste heat to cool and warm the building.
PTSG’s Access and Safety division provides design and installation services for safety at height equipment, alongside maintenance, inspection and testing solutions. The Group has already worked on some of London’s most iconic buildings, including the ‘Gherkin’, Leadenhall Tower and 52 Lime Street.
