Hello and welcome to the latest edition of Inside PTSG, our monthly e-newsletter which provides insight and updates from Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG).
This month I am delighted to welcome BEST to the PTSG group of companies. BEST is a long-established and respected lightning protection and steeplejack business, based in Manchester and with a significant national presence. The acquisition of BEST further enhances our leading position in the Lightning Protection market, particularly strengthening our presence in Scotland and the west of the UK. This is an exciting development for the business and we look forward to working with everyone in the BEST team as they are integrated into our Electrical Services Division.
In other news, I am pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted in five categories in this year’s PFM Awards, making PTSG the most shortlisted company for the third year running. This announcement is further evidence of the increasingly wide range of clients we provide services for, and displays our ongoing commitment to excellent customer service and world class delivery. Our customers are integral to our business, and to be recognised for the collaborative relationships we have developed is an achievement I am very proud of. We await the results of the final awards with excitement and anticipation.
You may have recently spotted some new PTSG vans on the roads. This follows an upgrade we have made to our vehicle fleet, to improve the safety and driving experience for our teams. Many of our staff are required to drive for long periods of the day, so it is extremely important that they have vehicles which are safe and comfortable to drive, allowing them to carry out their work to the best of their abilities, which is why we have made this worthy investment.
There are several interesting contract wins this month, including projects for long-time customers Harrods and the Co-operative Group, details of which can be read about below.
