A very warm welcome to the December issue of Inside PTSG – bringing you all the latest news and updates from around our business.

I am delighted to inform you that we won two awards at this year’s Premises and Facilities Management Annual Dinner on 07 November 2018 for our cradle installation work at the Scalpel with Skanska and for our proprietary software system, Clarity. I am really pleased for the Clarity team, who have taken our vision for a unique software system that would improve the service we deliver for our customers, and created something truly unique – indeed truly world-class. This rounds off a year which has seen the Group win big at the BIFM Awards and the Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence Awards, as well as receiving another RoSPA Gold Award and our second Gold Medal. This underlines our continued commitment to the highest standards of safety – our philosophy being that if it can’t be done safely, we don’t do it.

We are progressing well with the integration of our fire safety businesses and we are pleased that our wet and dry riser services, sprinkler systems and other fire suppression solution are in easy reach of any organisation looking for install or maintenance work right across the UK. We were awarded contracts to install sprinkler systems at London Trocadero and Devons Road Railway Station in East London, as well as a new residential building adjacent to Wembley stadium – rumoured to be one of Europe’s biggest regeneration projects.

This issue’s ‘Insight’ feature focuses on our Fire Solutions business and the impact it has made since it became a division of PTSG in its own right in 2017.

I am extremely pleased with the performance and progress of all four of PTSG’s divisions in 2018 and some of the highlights can be seen in our monthly news roundup.

As always, if you have any feedback on this issue or any other matters, I would be interested to hear from you. Thank you for reading and here’s to another successful year-end. May I take this opportunity to wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Best wishes
