Hello and welcome to this edition of Inside PTSG, in which we celebrate our 10th anniversary. It is with great pleasure that I reflect over this decade of successive growth and expansion and see how the company has become recognised as one of Europe’s leading niche specialist service providers.
I would believe the number one factor in our ongoing success and year-on-year growth is outstanding customer service. This has always been, and will continue to be, a priority for the business as we continue to measure our success from our customers’ perspective rather than our own.
Our industry is built upon people and we have always prided ourselves on recruiting the brightest talents, while also investing heavily in training and development. This month I am pleased to announce that one of our divisional directors has been heavily involved in the development of a new Fall Protection British Standard, BS8610, for the British Standards Institution. Having industry experts at the heart of our business is key to our ongoing success, and it is great to see the knowledge and experience they possess being shared for the benefit of the wider industry.
I am also pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the 2017 Yorkshire Business Masters Awards, one of the key events in this year’s business calendar. I pleased proud to say that out of a record number of entries, we were selected by the judging panel as one of the 37 companies that made the shortlist, having been selected for the ‘Large Business’ and ‘Fast Growth Business’ categories.
