Hello and welcome to the February edition of Inside PTSG. This month we cover all the latest news and updates from PTSG’s four dedicated divisions.

2018 is already moving at a great pace and all of our divisions are busier than ever at PTSG, with specialists from all corners of our business working hard out in the field or at our 17 offices around the UK. We’ve started the new year with a fresh impetus for 2018 and have confirmed some exciting new contracts at several iconic sites, including Westminster City Hall, MediaCityUK and Nottingham University, to name just a few. Our team continues to build on our solid performance of the past, by delivering new and innovative value-adding services now and in the future.

We are always striving to improve processes and drive innovations in the industry, and this has been reflected in our Access and Safety team’s collaboration on the new British Standard Institute’s BS 8610 standard for the design of fall protection anchor systems. I know that Nick Hayes, our director of Access Testing, has worked tirelessly with the BSI to help research and develop this new industry benchmark and we are very proud to have our staff demonstrating their knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the wider industry. You can read more about Nick’s work with the BSI in our top stories this month.

We are really pleased with the way in which our newly formed Fire Solutions business is performing. Adding commercial and residential sprinkler installation and maintenance to our existing portfolio of dry and wet riser services has proven a very popular choice with existing and new customers. We look forward to building on these relationships over the coming weeks and months.

I hope you enjoy this edition of Inside PTSG and, as always, if there is anything you would like to see included in future editions please do get in touch.

Best wishes
