Hello and welcome to the August edition of Inside PTSG, the source of all the latest news from across our four business divisions.
In July we announced the acquisition of M&P Fire Protection Ltd, our 24th acquisition. This acquisition extends the service offering of our Fire Solutions division and strengthens our geographical coverage within the fire protection sector, particularly in London and the South East.
The team and I are looking forward to working with M&P Fire Protection Ltd. to continue our successful strategy of achieving market leadership across the sectors in which we operate.
This month we were also delighted to have been named in two further award announcements. The first of these came in the form of a finalist announcement for this year’s British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Awards.
PTSG is a finalist in the Innovation in Professional Development category, where it was shortlisted for demonstrating how its investment in people has benefitted the business and the wider industry. This is one of the industry’s leading awards and it is a great honour to have reached this stage.
Next, the divisional director of our Electrical Services division, Craig Finney, has been named as a finalist in the Account Director of the Year category in this year’s PFM Awards. During his directorship Craig has overseen impressive growth of the Electrical Services division and has helped to strengthen PTSG’s reputation in the industry through active participation in professional institutions such as ATLAS.
This is the Group’s fourth nomination in this year’s PFM awards, following shortlistings in the Partners in Cleaning, Partners in Facilities Technology and Partners in Corporate (Private Sector) categories. Good luck, Craig!
