Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) is about to start the installation of a new monorail system at Royal Liverpool University Hospital (RLUH).
PTSG won the contract through Carillion, with whom it has completed many projects, but this is the first time the Group has carried out work at the RLUH. PTSG’s access and safety team will install a 500m aluminium rail system on the roof of the hospital, which will facilitate effective maintenance of the building, which is several storeys high.
The hospital is the largest and busiest in Merseyside and Cheshire, with around 40 wards and 710 beds. As such, PTSG’s work to simplify the building’s maintenance will aid the smooth-running of the hospital, and the team’s expertise will ensure minimal disruption throughout the project.

Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has resumed fall arrest testing works at Harrods luxury department store in Knightsbridge, London.
Operatives attending the store will perform tests to anchor points, mansafe systems and chandelier anchor points in order to ensure safety and compliance.
Harrods store in Knightsbridge is a five-acre site; with over one million square feet of space and more than 330 departments, it is the biggest department store in Europe.

Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has been awarded a contract to provide testing services to roof safety systems for multinational DIY retailer, B&Q.
The Group’s access and safety division will attend over 300 sites across the UK to test and maintain cable fall restraint systems.
The contract will begin in June, running initially for 12 months, and adds another household retail name to PTSG’s growing portfolio.
B&Q is the largest DIY retailer in the UK with over 350 stores. It also has stores in China, Ireland and Taiwan.

Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has been awarded a contract with Capital Estates to provide lightning protection services for the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex over three years.
The contract encompasses 23 buildings on the site of the 501-bed District General Hospital, which provides a comprehensive range of acute and specialist services to a local population of 258,000 people.
The works will see a dedicated team of four engineers completing the initial tests and inspection of the site, with a further four engineers joining them for any necessary remedial works over the three-year period.

Operatives from the Group’s access and safety division will attend St Bernard’s Hospital later this year to carry out fall arrest testing and planned preventative maintenance works (PPM), including the installation of Mansafe systems on plant room walkways.
